Spring Break in November

I thought I came to Florida to work. But here I am having all this fun. And as far as I'm concerned you can NEVER have too much fun.

Not that I'm not working....I'm working my ass off right now. But at the end of the week all I can think about is going dancing. And thank god that isn't giving me any injuries.

I'm trying to run more so I'll at least be able to do the 1/2 marathon next weekend. My ankle has been so problematic that I've had to take two 2-week rest periods to recover. Tonight's 5 mile run seemed better, so we'll see how it goes. But that 20 mile run a few weeks ago just about did me in. And it's probably not helping that I haven't been crossfitting either. But it appears I lack discipline without a group.

Think I'll need my ass kicked when I get back home. Any takers? I already know I'll be suffering.

Hey Lisa!

I'll be ready to kick your ass.

Can't wait till you're back. You can join me and Mikey for the rowing Tabata challenge. I didn't keep time when I ran 5.5 miles on Saturday, but I can tell I PR'ed. It's really helping.

I'm also going to use Alan Carr's book, The Easy Way to Quit Drinking, as that habit is becoming one I'm having to work too hard to fend off for my taste.

Can't wait to see you when you get back to L.A.!

Awesome Shannon! I've been getting myself in lots of trouble here, so will appreciate the ass-kicking. What's this with the Easy Way to Quit Drinking? Have you been indulging in "the drink" without my knowledge????

Glad you're coming home soon, miss having you around! Don't know about kicking your hiney, but I'll definitely help keep it moving.
